Looky magnifies from 3x - 8x. Similar to a
magnifying glass, the closer the magnifier is to the reading
material the larger the magnification, and conversely, the
farther the magnifier is from the reading material the
smaller the magnification. Looky's 3.5" LCD screen displays
the text that is directly under the viewing screen. which is
more intuitive for many users than most other portable video
magnifiers that are designed with the camera (that views the
reading text) off to the side. Or, use the Support Stand
to stabilize the Looky at a fixed reading magnification
level.

magnified. Long lasting LED lights illuminate the viewing
area to provide a bright image on the display screen. Looky
operates on two AA rechargeable batteries from 1.5 - 2 hours
on a full charge. Simply connect the AC adapter (included)
to recharge the batteries, or place the batteries into your
own external battery recharger. Be sure to purchase
rechargeable AA batteries (standard AA batteries will only
last for one use cycle). Refer to the User Manual for more
